Working Principle
Normal Operation: Double-Acting Pneumatic Drive:During normal operation, compressed air is regulated, filtered and supplied alternately to the two chambers of the pneumatic cylinder through the air preparation unit. When one chamber is pressurized and the opposite chamber is exhausted, the piston moves toward the exhaust side and generates the required output torque to open the valve. When the air supply is switched, the opposite chamber is pressurized while the other chamber is exhausted, causing the piston to return and close the valve. This process provides reliable and automatic bidirectional valve operation through pneumatic pressure.
Air Failure / Power Failure: Hydraulic Manual Override:When the air supply is completely interrupted, the actuator can be switched to manual hydraulic override mode. By repeatedly operating the external manual lever, the integrated manual hydraulic pump pressurizes the hydraulic fluid and delivers it to the actuator chamber, generating hydraulic force to move the piston and manually operate the valve. This provides reliable emergency valve opening and closing without pneumatic power. Once the compressed-air supply is restored, the actuator can be switched back to automatic double-acting pneumatic operation.
