The three‑piece threaded ball valve is a manually operated ball valve featuring three‑piece body construction and threaded end connections. It mainly consists of body, ball, stem, seats, sealing components and connecting bolts. The body is commonly manufactured in stainless steel, carbon steel and other materials, delivering compact structure, high mechanical strength, easy disassembly and reliable sealing performance.
Thanks to its three‑piece design, the middle body, ball, seat and sealing parts can be inspected and serviced by disassembling the end connections, without removing the entire valve from the pipeline. It is especially suitable for industrial piping systems requiring frequent maintenance or seal replacement.
Working Principle of Threaded Ball Valve:
Opening: Rotate the lever handle by 90°. The bore of the ball aligns with the pipeline flow path for smooth media passage.
Closing: Rotate the lever handle in reverse direction. The ball bore deviates from the flow path. Sealing specific pressure is generated by medium pressure together with seat pre‑load to shut off pipeline media.
Operation sequence: Lever actuation → Torque transmission via stem → 90° rotation of ball → Media on / off.
Manual ball valves are widely used on piping systems for fast opening and closing, to cut off or connect fluid media stably. Accurate parameter confirmation including working temperature, medium, pressure and caliber is required before ordering for correct valve selection. Customized solutions on valve size, pressure rating, connection standard and body material are available to meet diverse non-standard working conditions.(Unit: mm)

Three‑piece split‑body construction enables easy disassembly. Internal sealing parts can be maintained inline without removing the complete valve from the line. Threaded ends allow quick installation with small space occupation. Full‑bore flow path provides low flow resistance and fast 90‑degree lever‑handle operation. Multiple body material options are available for neutral and mildly‑corrosive service conditions. Compact dimensions deliver remarkable cost‑efficiency.
Thread types such as NPT, BSPP (G) and BSPT (R) can be supplied to meet market requirements. Widely applied in water treatment, oil, natural gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, food, HVAC and general industrial piping systems.
