The Five‑Eccentric Zero‑Friction Wear‑Resistant C‑Segment Ball Valve is a high‑performance special‑purpose ball valve engineered for high‑temperature, high‑pressure, highly abrasive and severe industrial service conditions. It features a unique five‑eccentric structure, zero‑friction opening‑closing design and wear‑resistant C‑segment ball.
During opening and closing cycles, the ball follows a special eccentric motion path to separate from, rotate past and finally engage the seat. No continuous friction occurs between the ball and seat throughout the rotating movement, which greatly reduces wear on sealing surfaces and cuts down operating torque.
The C‑segment ball adopts a specially‑designed flow passage. Hard‑facing treatment with hard‑alloy or wear‑resistant alloy materials can be applied according to working conditions, delivering outstanding performance in wear resistance, erosion resistance and high‑temperature endurance.
Working Principle of Five‑Offset Zero‑Friction Wear‑Resistant C‑Type Ball Valve
Opening Process: The actuator drives the valve stem and the ball to rotate. Thanks to the five‑offset geometric structure, the ball separates from the valve seat immediately at the initial stage of rotation, with no contact friction between the sealing surfaces. The C‑type cut‑out of the ball gradually exposes the flow passage, and the flow‑through area changes continuously with the rotation angle to realize flow regulation. When rotated by 90°, the valve reaches the fully‑open position and the medium flows through smoothly.
Closing Process: The ball is driven to rotate in the reverse direction, and the C‑type flow passage is gradually throttled down until the medium passage is cut off. After the ball rotates into place, the five‑offset structure generates wedging force to axially press the ball tightly against the sealing surface of the seat, creating a reliable high‑compression seal to block medium flow. Throughout the whole opening‑closing cycle, contact between sealing surfaces only occurs momentarily during final compression and pre‑opening separation. Zero friction is maintained during the entire rotation stroke.
Manual ball valves are widely used on piping systems for fast opening and closing, to cut off or connect fluid media stably. Accurate parameter confirmation including working temperature, medium, pressure and caliber is required before ordering for correct valve selection. Customized solutions on valve size, pressure rating, connection standard and body material are available to meet diverse non-standard working conditions.(Unit: mm)

Designed with five‑offset zero‑friction sealing, the ball and seat remain out of contact during rotation for opening and closing, completely eliminating scuffing of sealing surfaces and greatly extending the service life of the seat. The C‑type cut‑out on the ball enables continuous flow regulation and integrates shut‑off and control functions into one unit. Hard‑facing alloy overlay is available on sealing surfaces to provide excellent wear‑resistance and erosion‑resistance, making the valve suitable for highly abrasive slurry media containing solid particles.
The eccentric wedging‑tight seal delivers reliable bidirectional sealing performance. It features stable operating torque and low risk of jamming. The straight‑through flow passage creates minimal flow resistance and reduces material buildup and clogging. Multiple actuation options are available including handwheel, worm‑gear, electric and pneumatic operators. This valve is well‑suited for severe abrasive‑service applications such as power‑plant ash‑removal, ore slurry and slag slurry.
