Manual Flanged V-Port Ball Valve is a high-performance valve integrating shut-off and regulating functions. It features a V-port ball design and flanged end connections, operated manually by handle or handwheel.

Unlike conventional full-bore ball valves, the specially designed V-shaped opening provides a gradually increased flow area during rotation, achieving stable flow regulation. The unique V-port structure delivers superior shearing performance, effectively handling media containing solid particles, fibers and viscous fluids.

Working Principle of Manual Flanged V-Port Ball Valve
The valve stem is driven by a handle or handwheel to rotate the V-port ball around the stem axis, which changes the flow area between the V-shaped opening and the valve seat.

Regulating Process: The rotation angle of the ball adjusts the flow area of the V-port. It delivers sensitive fine flow regulation at small openings and smooth flow passage at large openings, achieving precise linear throttling and stable flow control throughout the full stroke.

Shut-off Process: When fully closed, the V-port fits tightly against the valve seat to achieve tight zero-leakage shutoff. The sharp V-edge generates a superior shearing effect during operation to cut off fibers and particulate impurities effectively, preventing blockage and medium deposition and ensuring smooth valve cycling.
