The XLX Crank-Arm Piston Pneumatic Actuator is designed for reliable automation of quarter-turn and other rotary valves. When compressed air enters the cylinder, it drives the piston in a linear motion. The linear piston movement is then converted into rotary motion of the output shaft through the connecting rod and crank-arm mechanism, enabling precise valve opening and closing.
The actuator features high reversing accuracy, stable sealing performance and fast response, making it well suited for automated control of quarter-turn valves. Its robust mechanical design provides reliable operation and precise directional control in demanding industrial applications.
With a wide output torque range and comprehensive size options, the XLX crank-arm piston actuator can also be used for valve applications requiring higher output torque. Its versatile configuration makes it suitable for ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves and other quarter-turn valves, providing a flexible pneumatic actuation solution for a wide range of industrial valve automation requirements.

High rotary precision: High-precision bearings installed at all rotating positions.
Long service life: Small-size models adopt aluminum alloy cylinders with special wear-resistant inner surface treatment. The piston rod is hard chrome-plated and mirror-finished. The piston is guided by wear strips with dual sealing structure.
Strong shock resistance: Integrally cast crank arm delivers high structural strength and stability.
Flexible stroke adjustment: Adjustable stop bolts on both sides. Both 0° and 90° positions can be adjusted within ±10°.
Enhanced safety: Single-acting version equipped with anti-spring-ejection structure.
Flexible & cost-effective selection: Housings and cylinder assemblies can be combined according to torque requirements, offering abundant torque grades.
Fast on/off capability: Enables rapid valve opening and closing when matched with pneumatic accessories.
Variable torque output: Peak torque occurs at the start of stroke, exceeding nominal rated torque to overcome valve seating friction and improve safety margin.
