The Pneumatic Single-seat Control Valve is a mainstream final control valve for industrial process control. Driven by compressed air, the pneumatic actuator drives the valve stem and plug to move, adjusting the throttling clearance between the plug and seat to precisely regulate the flow rate, pressure, temperature and liquid level of pipeline media. Equipped with only one set of plug-seat sealing pair inside the valve body, it features a compact structure and excellent sealing performance, and is widely applied to working conditions requiring high-precision throttling and shutoff.
The complete pneumatic control valve consists of the following components:
Pneumatic Actuator: Diaphragm actuators with direct/reverse action are commonly used. Optional accessories include valve positioner, air filter pressure reducing valve, solenoid valve and limit switch. The actuator receives standard 4-20mA control signals and converts electrical signals into valve stroke for automatic regulation. A handwheel mechanism can be equipped to enable manual operation in case of failure.
Valve Body:The valve body adopts a straight-through cast design, allowing the process medium to flow directly through the valve with a streamlined flow path.
Valve Plug & Valve Seat:The valve adopts a single sealing pair design with a stable guiding structure, ensuring accurate positioning and reliable throttling performance.
Valve Stem & Packing System:The valve stem sealing system adopts high-performance packing materials:PTFE Flexible Packing,Graphite Packingto provide reliable sealing and prevent external leakage.
Valve Bonnet Options:Various bonnet designs are available according to operating conditions:Standard Bonnet,Extended Bonnet with Cooling Fins,Extended Low Temperature Bonnet,Bellows-Sealed Bonnet.
Medium flows in through the valve body inlet, passes through the throttling orifice between the plug and seat, and exits from the outlet. Regulation is realized by changing the flow area via the vertical movement of the plug.

XLXV-001 Series Cage Single-Seat Control Valve:Adopting a top-guided unbalanced structure, this valve features high strength, heavy-load capacity, an S-shaped flow path, low pressure drop loss, large flow coefficient, wide adjustable range and high precision of flow characteristics.
This type of control valve is suitable for working conditions with relatively low differential pressure. It provides tight shutoff and is applicable to the regulation of medium flow rate or pipeline pressure.
The cage adopts a clamped seat design, which addresses the drawbacks of conventional screw-in seats, including difficult disassembly and excessive leakage, and extends service life. The flow-to-open configuration guides the medium to push the valve toward the open position, delivering excellent controllability at small openings and minimal distortion of flow characteristics. Special cages for noise reduction and anti-cavitation can be selected according to site process requirements.
