The Pneumatic Diaphragm Control Valve is an advanced automatic regulating valve integrated with an electro-pneumatic valve positioner, providing continuous and precise modulation of valve opening. Driven by compressed air, the valve controls the effective flow area through the movement of a flexible diaphragm and receives a 4–20 mA standard signal from PLC/DCS control systems for accurate regulation of flow, pressure and liquid level.
Inheriting the key advantages of diaphragm valve technology, including zero external leakage without packing, clean and dead-leg-free flow passage design, excellent acid and alkali resistance, and superior anti-clogging performance, this valve is specially designed for hygienic, clean and corrosion-resistant process applications.
The central control system outputs a 4–20 mA current signal according to process requirements and transmits it to the valve positioner. The valve positioner converts the electrical signal into the corresponding pneumatic pressure signal, which is supplied to the actuator chamber to drive the valve stem downward and compress the diaphragm.
The greater the downward movement of the diaphragm, the smaller the throttling gap inside the valve body becomes, resulting in reduced flow capacity. When the valve stem moves upward, the diaphragm returns to its original position, increasing the flow passage area and allowing higher flow rates.
The valve positioner continuously compares the set-point signal with the actual valve stem travel position and automatically adjusts the air pressure output. This ensures stable valve positioning and enables closed-loop continuous control of flow rate and pressure.
Control valves are used for precise regulation of pipeline flow, pressure, temperature and other process parameters. To ensure correct valve selection and optimal performance, please provide detailed technical data before placing an order. Non-standard sizes and customized designs can be manufactured according to customer requirements.(Unit: mm)
