Product details

Manual Wafer V‑Port Ball Valve is a high‑performance ball valve integrating media shut‑off and flow regulation. It adopts V‑port ball construction and wafer‑type connection, and is manually operated by handle or worm‑gear mechanism.

The V‑port ball features a special V‑shaped flow passage. As the ball rotates, the flow‑through area changes gradually with the opening angle to achieve stable flow regulation. Meanwhile, the edge of the V‑port ball delivers shearing action, which effectively handles media containing particles, fibers, slurry and viscous fluids.

Working Principle of V‑Port Ball Valve
Valve Opening: As the ball rotates from the closed position, the V‑port opening gradually enlarges and the effective flow‑through area increases accordingly. The flow rate rises with the opening angle to realize flow regulation.

Flow Regulation: Maintaining the V‑port ball at different opening angles continuously varies the effective flow area, enabling adjustment of medium flow rate and pressure. Thanks to its stable inherent flow characteristic, the V‑port ball valve is well‑suited for industrial systems requiring moderate regulating accuracy.

Valve Closing: When the ball rotates to the closed position, the V‑port is misaligned with the pipeline flow direction. The ball makes firm contact with the seat to block media flow and achieve reliable shut‑off.

Shearing Action: During ball rotation, shearing force is generated between the V‑port edge and the seat. It cuts or breaks fibers, particles and viscous materials, reducing the risk of valve blockage.

Product Specifications

Manual ball valves are widely used on piping systems for fast opening and closing, to cut off or connect fluid media stably. Accurate parameter confirmation including working temperature, medium, pressure and caliber is required before ordering for correct valve selection. Customized solutions on valve size, pressure rating, connection standard and body material are available to meet diverse non-standard working conditions.(Unit: mm)
