Product details

Manual Forged‑Steel High‑Pressure Zero‑Friction Retractable Ball Valve is a high‑performance ball valve engineered for high‑pressure, severe‑service and highly‑reliable shut‑off applications. The valve body adopts forged‑steel construction with superior mechanical strength and pressure‑bearing capacity. Equipped with a separated axial‑lifting‑and‑rotation structure for the ball, the ball disengages from the seat prior to rotation during opening‑closing cycles, eliminating direct friction between the ball and seat as occurs in conventional ball valves.

Upon closure, after the ball is rotated to the closed position, it moves axially and presses firmly against the seat to form a dependable metal‑to‑metal or soft‑seat seal. This design effectively reduces operating torque, seat wear and the risk of sealing‑surface scratches during actuation. It is especially suitable for oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, power‑generation and high‑pressure piping systems.

Working Principle of Manual Forged‑Steel High‑Pressure Zero‑Friction Retractable Ball Valve
Opening Process: Rotate the handwheel to drive the stem and the ball for axial movement. The ball first disengages from the seat and creates a clearance gap. After separation from the seat, the ball begins to rotate. When the ball bore is fully aligned with the pipeline axis, the valve reaches its fully‑open position. Media flows through the ball passage with low‑resistance transmission.

Closing Process: Rotate the handwheel to turn the ball to the closed position. The ball remains mostly separated from the seat during rotation to avoid continuous friction. Once the ball is in place, the stem pushes the ball axially. The ball is pressed against the seat in the axial direction, building up reliable sealing contact pressure to achieve tight shut‑off of the process media.

Product Specifications

Manual ball valves are widely used on piping systems for fast opening and closing, to cut off or connect fluid media stably. Accurate parameter confirmation including working temperature, medium, pressure and caliber is required before ordering for correct valve selection. Customized solutions on valve size, pressure rating, connection standard and body material are available to meet diverse non-standard working conditions.（Unit: mm）
