The pneumatic hygienic butterfly ball valve is a quarter-turn pneumatic valve engineered for hygienic, clean and high-demand fluid pipeline systems. It combines the sanitary structure of a hygienic butterfly valve and the fast switching characteristics of a ball valve, achieving rapid shut-off, opening and automatic fluid control.

Working Principle of Pneumatic Hygienic Butterfly Ball Valve
The pneumatic hygienic butterfly ball valve uses a pneumatic actuator as the drive unit. Clean compressed air enters the actuator and drives the internal transmission mechanism to generate 0°~90° quarter-turn torque, rotating the valve stem and butterfly ball cartridge synchronously.
When the through hole of the butterfly ball aligns with the pipeline flow passage, the valve is fully open for smooth medium flow. Rotating the butterfly ball by 90° allows the spherical surface to block the flow passage and shut off the medium.
It can be equipped with solenoid valves, limit switches, air filter regulators and other automation accessories to realize remote on-off control and valve position signal feedback. The single-acting actuator is fitted with an internal spring for automatic reset upon air loss to satisfy fail-safe requirements. The smooth inner flow passage supports CIP/SIP online cleaning and sterilization, suitable for clean process conditions.
