Product details

Pneumatic Triple‑Offset Fully‑Welded Butterfly Valve is a high‑performance butterfly valve featuring triple‑offset construction, metal‑to‑metal hard‑seated design and fully‑welded connection. It realizes rapid on‑off operation and automatic valve control by means of a pneumatic actuator. The triple‑offset design ensures virtually no friction between the disc and seat during opening and closing strokes. It effectively reduces wear on sealing surfaces, extending service life and improving sealing reliability of the valve.

Operating Principle of Pneumatic Triple‑Offset Fully‑Welded Butterfly Valve:
Opening Stroke: Upon receiving an opening signal from the control system, compressed air enters the pneumatic actuator to rotate the valve stem. Thanks to the triple‑offset geometry, the disc separates from the seat sealing surface at the initial rotation stage with zero friction throughout movement. When the disc rotates parallel to the flow path, the valve is fully open for smooth media passage.

Closing Stroke: When the control system sends a closing signal, the pneumatic actuator rotates in reverse to drive the disc back. The disc moves towards the seat. At the closed position, the triple‑offset geometry presses the disc sealing face tightly against the metal seat. Reliable metal‑to‑metal sealing is achieved by sealing specific pressure to block media flow.

Automatic Control: Double‑acting or spring‑return single‑acting pneumatic actuators are optional. Solenoid valves control air supply for remote on‑off operation; limit switches provide full‑open and full‑closed position feedback. A valve positioner adjusts disc opening for flow regulation. The manual override allows emergency operation in case of power or air supply failure.

Product Specifications

Pneumatic butterfly valves are widely used in industrial piping systems for fast, automatic and reliable flow isolation and regulation. Equipped with pneumatic actuators, these valves enable remote operation and can be integrated with PLC, DCS and automatic control systems for efficient process control. Key parameters including working temperature, medium, pressure rating, valve size, actuator type and connection standard should be confirmed before ordering to ensure proper valve selection. Customized valve sizes, pressure ratings, connection types, sealing materials, body materials and pneumatic actuator configurations are available for various industrial and non-standard applications. Welded butterfly valves adopt welded‑end connections, enabling direct welding between the valve body and pipeline. They feature compact structure, reliable connection and fewer leakage points, and are particularly suitable for industrial systems with high requirements on pipeline tightness. The valve body and sealing materials can be selected from carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel and high‑temperature‑resistant materials according to different service conditions. They are applicable to industrial pipelines for petroleum, natural gas, chemical industry, power generation, metallurgy, heating supply and high‑temperature steam service.
